Damon R. Stoddard

DFSS Master Black Belt

Damon Stoddard is a Six Sigma Leader for Microsoft and also a certified Master Black Belt.  In his previous role, Damon's accomplishments include the launch and eventual broad based deployment of Six Sigma for Honeywell.  In this role, Damon trained over 300 Black Belts and personally certified over 30 Black Belts as well as over 100 Green Belts.  Project work yielded over $20 million in savings.

In more recent activity, Damon developed a large portion of the Honeywell Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) training curriculum.  Furthermore, Damon co-developed portions of the Honeywell New Product Introduction process which was adopted as a best practice.  Customers such as the U.S. Army and G.E. have recently seen this process and are excited about applying it throughout their supplier base.

Currently, Damon works for the Microsoft Corporation where his focus is on deployment of various Design for Six Sigma principles in both the hardware and software businesses.

On a personal note, Damon is the father of a beautiful 6 year old daughter.  Together, they enjoy fishing, camping, and swimming.
