Authority: Experts, Celebrities

Have you known "Spiritual" people who do not measure up to the above standards? Do you know "Secular" people with honor and integrity who are not like those items listed for Humanism? The answer to both questions is YES. The point is that at the bedrock, the foundation for the Christian rests on the scriptures and his behaviors are supposed to be a reflection of what God for Christ's sake would have him to do. Further, the indwelling Holy Ghost will guide him into truth. The Humanist is by definition limited to human reasoning and by choice can exhibit behavior beneficial to society, even often. Yet being limited to human reasoning, he's destined to produce behavior that is not beneficial to him or to those around him, even at critical times in his life. "The way of the transgressors is hard."
