Philosophy Regarding Finances

Money is a tool, but like any tool one must learn how to use it. My security is in Christ, and he'll provide for me. I don't have to be sly and sophisticated about accumulating finances, nor do I have to be focused on money. I should be able to enjoy the fruits of my labors. I must not be neglectful of legitimate opportunities to progress and move forward in any area of my life. Education, career employment, investments, and home-based businesses fulfill my legitimate responsibility in the area of income production.

Our income allows us to have my wife at home, my kids to participate in activities that require finances, and for me to pursue ministry while fulfilling family financial obligations. We have never been in financial trouble and have never been called by a bill collector. We help mentor others in the areas of finances.
