Chilly Hilly

In 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 I rode in the Chilly Hilly. This is an annual February event on Bainbridge Island (near Seattle) sponsored by the Cascade Bicycle Club. It is 33 miles long and a lot more Hilly than it is Chilly (since we go later in the day).

Check out the mileage and map here.  Here's the elevation gain:

This was Bob's third Chilly Hilly, as it was for Ryan (13). This was Jessica's (11) second Chilly Hilly and the first (and maybe last!) for Rebecca (almost 19). Bob got severe thigh and hamstring cramping at the 20-mile make. The coach, Steve Becka, is a veteran of many Chilly Hilly's. Ryan and Rebecca were each riding bikes owned by Steve.
